In this movie, filmmaker P.R. Govind turned the camera on his own nuclear family from a young boy's perspective, revealing an Indian-American take on what it’s like to be a child of immigrant parents in America today. Based on the director’s childhood and his experiences growing up as an Indian American, the film documents both Hindi and English conversations between two sets of parents — played by Govind and Shalini — who don't understand each other's language and set out to find common ground to bring their children together. The film won the 2009 Audience Award at the SENE Film, Music & Arts Festival in Providence, Rhode Island.
